Opening Remarks

The University of Nebraska’s first game on their new removable flooring system resulted in one of the most exciting games in recent memory.
The University of Nebraska’s first game on their new removable flooring system resulted in one of the most exciting games in recent memory.

I wanted to take this opportunity to express our pleasure with our portable basketball floor that we recently purchased. When we made the decision to select FieldTurf Tarkett’s Sportable flooring system, the product’s innovative performance characteristics and our previous experience with FieldTurf Tarkett’s unparalleled customer service from the numerous turf fields we’ve purchased made this decision an easy one.
Our players have complimented the consistent ball bounce they enjoy on the surface as well as the ideal amount of shock absorption that comes from the flooring system.
In our first game on the new court, our men’s basketball team upset No. 16 ranked University of Oregon, 88-79, in an overtime thriller, and after the game everyone stormed the court to celebrate. We will undoubtedly cherish this high-performance portable basketball floor when we break it out for future games.
Our players, coaches, and administrators are ecstatic with our purchase — not to mention our facility workers who continue to tell me how easy the floor is to assemble and remove.
