Opening Remarks

"You name it; our turf has handled it."
Kansas State University’s Tointon Stadium is one of the premiere college baseball facilities in the nation.

Our new state-of-the-art athletic surface will give Wayne State a huge advantage in terms of recruiting and helping deliver a consistent and top-notch field. It will allow us to better develop our young athletes.

The importance of having a best-of-class athletic facility has never been more of a pressing issue than it is right now, especially in the world of football. University teams like ours realize that making sound investments for business and athletes is a must, given the emphasis on student-athletes in today’s world of sports.

All of today’s coaches recognize the need to have increased practice time without tearing up the playing field. The majority of schools are taking the necessary steps by making facility improvements in terms of playability, aesthetics, safety measures, and cost feasibility. It is essential to make wise decisions by selecting products with proven durability for a team’s specific needs. After having seen many different artificial surfaces as a coach, I truly believe FieldTurf is the best surface for Wayne State.
